Billing and Credentialing Specialist

Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensuring accurate and timely processing of all third party insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, Private Pay, and special programs.
- Other coordinator functions related to medical and allied health professional staff credentialing, reappointment, and privileging.
- Candidate should have strong working knowledge of managed care plans, insurance carriers, referrals and pre-certification procedures, as well as comprehensive understanding of accounts receivable management in a healthcare setting and insurance credentialing process.
- Strong customer service, organizational and communication skills are essential to this position.
- Posting payments, adjustments, processing denial, bi-weekly re-bill, follow up with insurance companies on accounts not paid, and collections of private past-due accounts.
- Medical and allied health professional staff credentialing, reappointment, and privileging.
- Experience with ICD-10, CPT.
- Medical billing experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills are a must.
- Excellent customer service required. Able to resolve client billing problems in a timely manner.

Executive Assistant

Primary Responsibilities:
- To implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the business office.
- To make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action Knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in primary care and home health.
- Maintains professional working relationships with all communities, associates, vendors, etc.
- Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information Education, training and direction of employees.
- Understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures.
- To assist with effective management and oversight of bookkeeping functions including: review posted payments and charges, balance daily/weekly/monthly receipts.
- Collect delinquent accounts and insurance reimbursement, and evaluate need for and refer delinquent accounts to the collecting account.
- Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in related field preferred; Associates degree or equivalent experience will be considered.
