Billing and Credentialing Specialist

  • Primary Responsibilities:

    • Ensuring accurate and timely processing of all third party insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, Private Pay, and special programs.
    • Other coordinator functions related to medical and allied health professional staff credentialing, reappointment, and privileging.
    • Candidate should have strong working knowledge of managed care plans, insurance carriers, referrals and pre-certification procedures, as well as comprehensive understanding of accounts receivable management in a healthcare setting and insurance credentialing process.
    • Strong customer service, organizational and communication skills are essential to this position.
    • Posting payments, adjustments, processing denial, bi-weekly re-bill, follow up with insurance companies on accounts not paid, and collections of private past-due accounts.
    • Medical and allied health professional staff credentialing, reappointment, and privileging.
    • Experience with ICD-10, CPT.
    • Medical billing experience required.
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills are a must.
    • Excellent customer service required. Able to resolve client billing problems in a timely manner.

Executive Assistant

  • Primary Responsibilities:

    • To implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the business office.
    • To make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action Knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in primary care and home health.
